I have come across an old combination lock, the type most commonly used on lockers.
I have no idea what the combination is, so I need to pick the lock to open it. How do I do so?

Cut a "V" shaped point out of a piece of a pop can. Slide it down between the hasp and the lock while gently pulling on the hasp.
A big set of bolt cutters will do the trick.
Sometimes you can pick these old locks by putting a gentle pull on the hasp as you turn the tumbler slowly, you may feel a slight click as you turn it to the right spot. This would not work on a good quality lock, I dont think
do what stephen said but gentle pull the lock down while turning to the right….after you feel a click turn it to the left while still pulling the hasp down….after you feel a click again turn 2 times to the right that click usally opens it like on the 30th time lol….takes time depending on what type of lock it is
