Try using the following depending on the size of your lock hole:
1) a fairly small width flathead screwdriver
2) a Paperclip, bobby pin, or wire hanger… that you bend into a very small U shape to fit the lock hole
3) a thin flexible credit card (the ones from the movie rental places works best) that you insert between the door and frame, at the point of the lock.
4) as a last resort, your phone… to call the locksmith!
Lift foot, extend foot
It depends on the type of lock. You could always take off the hinges of a door to get past it, though.
by in door i think you mean the locks you use on a bathroom or bedroom door that have only a round hole in the center. if that’s the case you can use a bobbypin and straighten it out and put it in the hole and either push, if you have the push button type lock or slide it into a slot that you could see with a flashlight and turn it. a small pocket straight blade screwdriver will work also
I am assuming you mean a privacy set like a bath or bed room. Some have a small hole in the center of the knob, use an ice pick, you will feel something springy inside, then push, the door will be unlocked. Some have a slightly larger hole, those need a small screw driver, push it in the hole and turn it either right or left, the door should be unlocked. Then there is the old credit card trick.
