The police thing, is wery easy to pick… all you need is a paperclip or something ;)

dont add all spools or shrooms. leave a regular pin in the first or third chamber to aid alignment of moving parts..
you should be entertained for quite a while, and in the end you will be of higher skill.
just my take on things…=)
good luck,man..let me know if u need any help.

yeah..just keep in mind , every picker should be able to strip a lock down and reassemble it.
it keeps you in touch with the mechanical side of things, and it gets easier each time you do it..
hones your dexterity as well…
i would stick those spool pins you found in a baggie,
then when you want to challenge yourself, try adding them to a reg. pinned lock.

nahhh, i got millions. ill just get another. haha

wizwazzle October 31, 2009 at 8:03 am

oh,nooooo…lol can you reassemble it?
you will need to make a plug follower.

yeah, i did get a false set. i got pissed at the lock so i took it apart, an sure enough, there were those mushroom pins.

wizwazzle October 31, 2009 at 9:06 am

then you should get a false set.. i have a vid called “what is false set.”
might help you..
also see my most recent vid you can really see the feedback and the false set.

wizwazzle October 31, 2009 at 10:03 am

deadbolts are fine for practice, provided they are not in use.

ButtMuffin193 October 31, 2009 at 10:12 am

probly not smart for me to practice on a dead blot lock huh?

hey thanks to your idea with drawing the line and dots where the key fits in outside the lock i was able to succesfully unlock my first lock! of course it was a master lock haha

Cawmplihcayted October 31, 2009 at 11:33 am

Which type of lock pick would you say is the best for most locks?

serialnumber1700 October 31, 2009 at 11:34 am

Emm, so what # would have this hi-lo-hi-lo or am I looking at an entirely differrent lock altogether..??

wizwazzle October 31, 2009 at 12:09 pm

they have the same guts.
look for one with a hi-lo-hi-lo bitting for a better challenge.

serialnumber1700 October 31, 2009 at 12:20 pm

I have a master lock #1. Which I can very successfully rake. The odd time i can spp it. Is it worth getting a #3?

wizwazzle October 31, 2009 at 12:50 pm

they are a good starting point for learning, because they are so crappy, and EZ 2 pick.

serialnumber1700 October 31, 2009 at 1:47 pm

Why is a master #3 so good….??? Im not doubting your skill, Im just curious.

wizwazzle October 31, 2009 at 2:38 pm
