I just started a rogue and I’m really wanting to know how I can level up my lockpicking training to 375.

Start as soon as your rogue lockpicking training will allow you to pick locks, which is at level ten. Get the skills and the items that you need to pick locks, and do as many as you possibly can. A great way to level up your lockpicking skills is to hang out in one of your faction’s major cities and keep an eye on the general and trade channels for people asking for lock pickers. Make sure that you know what you can, and can’t, pick, so when people ask you can say yes to them. There are always people who try to find rogues when they are in a major city to pick lock boxes for them. And, you can usually make a bit of extra cash as well!
You can also create a macro that advertises your WoW lockpicking ability and just hit it when you change general channels and you know that you will be in an area for a while. You might just be surprised at how many people will ask you to pick locks if you simply let them know that you are there.
As you quest through the World of Warcraft, you will join groups that hit instances. A lot of these instances will also give you a chance to up your skills, as there are always doors that need to be unlocked and usually, no one has a key to them! So, you can also level your lockpicking skills in instances as well.
As you level your rogue, get any new training or skills that are available for lockpicking. Also, make sure to get any new items that you might need to pick higher level locks. The higher your level, the higher you can take your lockpicking skill. When you hit the Outlands, the first major city that you come to should have a lockpicking trainer where you can finally gain that coveted 375 mark. If you’re alliance, goto Ironforge, stand on the bridge connecting the Auction house and the mail box… Go in general and yell, Levelling lock picking ( LOW- MEDIAN – HIGH ) or whatever you are at, and say, Free! tips are appreciated though!

Depends on your lvl. Usually your Rogue trainer will have choices once you speak with them:
-Train me
-Unlearn Talents
-Where can I go to skill up Lock picking
Select the "Where can I go to skill up Lock picking" and he should give you a few areas that contain a condensed amount of locked chests in an area of your current lvl. They re-spawn fast and usually only contain small amounts of money and rogue regents
ie. Zoram Strand, Sunken Temple (underneath the water)… etc…
I’m sure you know this but your max lock picking skill increases 5 points with every lvl.
DO NOT stand on the bridge of IF or on the bank in ORG shouting for free Lock Picking… that is only helpful if your trying to pop out a few skill points, in need of some petty cash, and have time to blow… other wise its a huge waist of time.
