6 mushrooms are pins inside the lock which jam the lock to be open but even tho u can still open them :P

I got the 264 version (I guess it’s the same, only smaller lock) and it’s SO hard to pick! :P

try to push the shackle in, and while pushing the shackle, put the key in and turn it, then let go of the pressure on the key while still pushing the shackle

wtf ur problem

tricircle locks are hard to pick for beginners, the metal is very weak and after a few minutes with tension it pushes the metal away so much you can no longer fit a wrence in LOL

cool. but can you tell me why hollow diaonds are used instead of half diamonds?

PROTEK123 November 3, 2009 at 11:29 am

Give up picking then.

PROTEK123 November 3, 2009 at 12:28 pm

wow was that a genuine tri – circle
(cheapest lock on the market) i can open any tri circle in less than 10 seconds. next you will be posting u picking a BIRD cylinder.

can you get the tools at stores?

LockHoodlum November 3, 2009 at 1:35 pm

Is the 265 series, also as low on quality as my 263? I have 3 of them, and 2 can be barely opened with the original key (it feels like the pins already bind without any torque on the plug).

They feel like they are pretty sh*tty builds.

Anyways, nice video, next weekend I am going to buy a couple of Tri-Circles. If you ever visit Amsterdam, Waterlooplein is a good spot to buy cheap low-end locks.

MakaveliBone November 3, 2009 at 2:44 pm

can you open it with homemade things cause i’ve tried and I can’t?

allofusarelost November 3, 2009 at 3:44 pm

I started getting into picking last week, fully, and after searching my house found a tricircle 263. Have managed to get it picked twice in the last 24 hours, having been at it on and off for 48hrs. You made this look easy!
Pretty sure my first pick was somewhat a fluke, but the second was suprisingly quick.
Good vid.

swish1onu November 3, 2009 at 4:49 pm

Uh… I’m glad you can open the lock… but how about being a little more informative?

LockAssassin November 3, 2009 at 5:09 pm

cheers, these new hollow slimline picks are just awesome, the lock opens just at the sight of them lol.
