Using one tool and one hand picking a deadbolt and key in knob lock on a back door. I had to pick the deadbolt again after the video was over because I locked myself out.

It was made from a nail and epoxy but now I make them from grinding down pairing knifes from odd lots.

what did he make it out of?

Definitely not fake but I doubt that it works well on locks with security pins.
This is a great way to impress a customer as a locksmith – nice video :)

Take a lockpick insert it into a lock then supply torque on it, that is the tension then wiggle it up and down as you keep the torque on it. Also known as a Jiggler

atarturk November 7, 2009 at 7:46 am

I see no tension on that lock. Knockoffs or not, if it is a pin tumbler lock you need tension. Why didn’t you just engage the lock with the door OPEN, so we can see behind the door? Because there is someone behind the door helping you.

CVScam November 7, 2009 at 7:46 am

Maybe no way for you. The tool itself supplies the tension. They are just kwickset knockoffs not hard locks.

atarturk November 7, 2009 at 8:42 am

Ok, for the noobs out there that think this is possible… There is no way in hell anybody could pick a lock without a tension wrench. This is a joke.

You can see the cylinder turn, IF you turn a deadbolt from the inside does the outside cylinder turn?? I dont think so.
