A visual demo to help people understand the internal workings of a lock and how lockpicking works. It’s just a clear acrylic lock housing, picked it up online for I think fifteen or twenty bucks a while back.

Where you found this training lock,i mean transparent?
thanks man. Now…to practice.
how would u make a pick set out of saw blades if u dnt have a grinder
nice vid man , easy to fallow 5s
No because the cilinder doesn’t let them go down.
My understanding is the torque that is applied by the tension wrench keeps the pins from being “forced” back down.
i dont understand how the upper pins stay up after having been “picked”. wouldn’t the spring force them back down?
Biometric Fingerprint Lock
Oh really? That’s cool, but what is a fingerprint lock may I ask
primitive is the suitable word.
locks are ancient from old egypt.
even fingerprint locks use the same pins.
Even though your comment is 2months old I’ll comment anyway.
Yeah, when I started to do a little research on how locks work so I could learn to pick them I was a tad shocked. They are so primitive haha, I can get through the ones at my house in under 30seconds (I’m new), so they are pretty useless.
i understood a LOT… man i’m so PROUD of understanding at last the mechanism… thx… 5/5 sure1!!
