The idea is that you go to the instance Blackrock Depths, enter and follow what I do. Works great 250-300+. Remember to pickpocket the soldiers as much as possible as they have chests which can get your skill up even further. The reason this is useful is because you can only do this Instance 5 times per hour. Follow this method and you should get to 300 in no time.

can u still pick those locks cause i remember u were able to pick the doors locks in sm and now u need the key, u can’t pick the sm doors

Actually, you can try the beach of the pirates(their base) near booty bay(which is the south of booty bay I think). There are lots of boxes for you to open, on the beach, near the camps, inside the houses and the two ships… And they will keep respawning all the time, you just have to find them.
